Dr Govind Chavada

About Me:

Dr Chavada is a Consultant Neurologist specialist interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuromuscular disorders. Dr Chavada graduated from MS University in 2001. He trained in General Medicine, followed by Neurology from 2002. His Neurological training was in Sheffield, followed by a 4 year period of research at Glasgow University studying clinical Neuroimmunology, followed by completion of clinical training in Glasgow. Dr Chavada then took up a Consultant Neurologist appointment at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Glasgow in 2016, and has worked there ever since. He takes part in the acute neurological emergencies rota and does neurology ward consults. Out-patient work includes general neurology (Epilepsy, Parkinson's disorder, Headache), but also specialised Multiple Sclerosis and Peripheral neuropathy clinic.
