I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1996. Very early on in my career , I felt drawn to Womens Health. After completing my Specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology I worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for 2 years in a busy teaching Hospital before moving into Community Gynaecology and Sexual & Reproductive Health, with some sessions as a Sexual Offences Examiner. I am also a Honorary Clinical Senior lecturer with the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing at the University of Glasgow.

My current practice is in Outpatient Gynaecology and Womens Sexual and Reproductive Health with a special interest in Menopause Care. I believe in working in partnership with my patients to ensure their needs are met with the highest standards of care.
Professional Memberships – British Menopause Society, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, with Associate Membership of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.
30 minute appointments for consultations : Menopause care, HRT, contraception- including Coil and Implant procedures, problematic periods, painful sex, early pregnancy scans, Transvaginal pelvic scans, cervical smears, endometrial biopsy, vulval biopsy.
Consultation fee – includes a 30 minute consultation, and if required, an examination, pelvic scan, letter to your GP, review of results of investigations and private prescription – £250
Follow up appointments– for the same condition, within 6 months of the initial consultation, any planned annual reviews or follow up scans – £175
Contraceptive implants– includes consultation, procedure, device and local anaesthetic.

Coils- includes the consultation, procedure, device and local anaesthetic, as well as a post insertion scan to ensure the coil is correctly placed.
