I graduated with a degree in Medicine in India in 2004. Following that I completed my Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India and then undertook post graduate training in the West of Scotland in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a focus on benign gynaecological surgical practice for benign conditions and gynaecological minimal access surgery. I am also a BSCCP accredited Colposcopist and Colposcopy trainer.

I am a trained Colposcopist and a registered member of the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). I undertake cervical screening and colposcopic treatment for pre-cancerous cervical changes.

I have been a Consultant Gynaecologist in the NHS since 2022. I am a laparoscopic surgeon involved in the management of conditions like endometriosis, menorrhagia, fibroids, ovarian cysts and other benign pelvic conditions that require gynaecological input via a laparoscopic approach. I am a member of the British Society of gynaecological Endoscopists and European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopists. I undertake keyhole surgery in investigating pelvic conditions including diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, perform treatment like hysterectomies via laparoscopic and open approaches and undertake consultation for most gynaecological conditions.
