He completed undergraduate training at the University of Glasgow and postgraduate training in the West of Scotland. Completing specialty training in Cardiology in 2014 before his Consultant appointment later that year.

Paul’s clinical practice covers all aspects of general and interventional cardiology, with a specialist interest in Sports Cardiology. He provides dedicated Sports Cardiology support across a wide range of professional and recreational disciplines, including the Scottish Rugby Union and the Scottish Football Association.

With a strong person-centred approach, Paul works closely with patients to help them understand and manage their individual cardiovascular risks, supporting them in achieving long-term heart health.
