About Me:

Mr. Paul Sooby is a consultant ENT surgeon with a specialist interest in ear disease (otology), hearing disorders, balance disturbance and cochlear implantation. He qualified in 2010 from Brighton and Sussex Medical School having also completed a BSc in Neuroscience. He was selected to the academic foundation programme in medical education, working in University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and the University of Leicester medical school.

Mr. Paul Sooby is a consultant ENT surgeon with a specialist interest in ear disease (otology), hearing disorders, balance disturbance and cochlear implantation. He qualified in 2010 from Brighton and Sussex Medical School having also completed a BSc in Neuroscience. He was selected to the academic foundation programme in medical education, working in University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and the University of Leicester medical school.

He completed his core surgical training in Sussex and completed his specialist ENT training within the West of Scotland. He also completed a specialist fellowship in cochlear implantation as part of his ENT training. He currently works in NHS Ayrshire and Arran as a consultant ENT surgeon and a member of the surgical team of the Scottish Cochlear Implant Programme.
