With over 30 years of nursing experience I am a qualified independent prescriber, my scope of practice includes independently performing colonoscopy procedures, running rectal bleeding clinics, and providing effective treatment for common colorectal conditions. I am experienced in haemorrhoid banding, the management of anal fissures, and delivering colonic irrigation therapy for patients with chronic constipation.

I am a highly skilled and dedicated Colorectal Nurse Specialist committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and expert care. My career began within the NHS, where I developed a strong clinical foundation working on hospital wards and in Accident & Emergency. I later progressed into theatre practice, gaining extensive experience as both a scrub nurse and anaesthetic nurse.
For more than 20 years, I have specialised in colorectal services and currently practice as a Lead Colorectal Cancer Nurse Specialist. Throughout this time, I have developed advanced clinical expertise and have worked autonomously in a range of specialist clinics.
I am passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a professional and discreet environment, supporting individuals with sensitive colorectal concerns and improving their quality of life.
