About Me:

I have worked in health care for over 20 years, in 2011 I qualified as a Mental Health Nurse and quickly completed an early clinical career fellowship with NHS Education for Scotland where I completed my first master’s degree. Though my career I have worked in several roles in various NHS boards, private and charity organisations.

I’m an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of experience supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental needs. I hold a Master’s degree in Advanced Practice, have independent prescribing rights, and am currently working towards a Clinical Doctorate.

I’ve been recognised by the Queen’s Nursing Institute as a Queen’s Nurse — an award that reflects my ongoing commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. I also contribute to the development of clinical practice through my work with the International Journal of Advanced Practice, the British Journal of Mental Health Nursing, and other professional publications.
In addition to general mental health care, I offer comprehensive ADHD assessments for adults, using a holistic, person-centred approach. That means I take the time to understand you — your experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals — to ensure your assessment feels accurate, respectful, and tailored to your unique situation.
